Another NFL Sunday has come and gone, and here is how some Penn Staters performed in Week 2.
Allen Robinson bounced back from a disappointing Rams debut (one catch, 12 yards) with a better showing.
Robinson, who played at Penn State from 2011-13, caught four balls for 53 yards and a touchdown in LA’s 31-27 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Jahan Dotson’s second NFL game didn’t go as well as his first.
After catching his first two NFL touchdowns— including the game-winner— in Washington’s 28-22 win over Jacksonville in Week 1, the Commanders fell to 1-1 Sunday, losing 36-27 to the Detroit Lions.
Nonetheless, Dotson caught his third NFL touchdown pass, and finished the day with 4 catches for 59 yards.

Sunday was a good day to be a Miami Dolphin.
After falling behind 28-7 to the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore, Miami came back to pull out a thrilling 42-38 win.
Former Penn State tight end Mike Gesicki played a role, catching one of Tua Tagovailoa’s six touchdown passes. Gesicki finished the day with four catches, 41 yards and his first touchdown of the 2022 season.

It was a bad day to be a Pittsburgh Steeler. The team lost to the New England Patriots, 17-14, to fall to 1-1.
Former Penn State tight end Pat Freiermuth provided a silver lining on the first play of the fourth quarter when he caught his first touchdown pass of the season.
But overall, Freiermuth’s performance was worse than it was in Pittsburgh’s Week 1 win in Cincinnati.
After catching 10 passes for 75 yards against the Bengals, Freiermuth only caught four balls for 22 yards on seven targets.

Freiermuth’s former Penn State teammate, Micah Parsons didn’t score a touchdown Sunday but did a lot of other things for the Dallas Cowboys.
Parsons had two sacks and four total tackles in Dallas’ 20-17 overtime win over Cincinnati.
He leads the NFL with four sacks through two games.
Another two-sack game for @MicahhParsons11 🦁
