Cone likes PSU
Virginia Tech transfer guard Jalen Cone is deciding between seven schools, and Penn State is one of them, according to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.

Cone played in 15 games and averaged 9.2 points this season for the Hokies. The sophomore from North Carolina shot 35.7 percent from the field and 34.9 percent from 3, which aren’t great numbers. But he did shoot 84.6 percent from the FT line.
Penn State got a good look at Cone this season when it played Virginia Tech, winning 75-55. Cone played 20 minutes in that game and scored 11 points. It’s obviously a different coaching staff for PSU now, but new coach Micah Shrewsberry can use that game and many others for reference points on Cone’s abilities.
