**Penn State will be ranked in the AP poll this week after the organization decided to allow teams from the Big Ten and other conferences to be part of the rankings despite not playing yet.
The Lions were No. 7 in the preseason AP poll, so we’ll see where they land now after much of the rest of the nation has already played a few games.
.@AP_Top25 poll will allow all conferences that have announced they’re playing this fall can be included on Sunday’s poll. So welcome back Big Ten, Pac-12 & Mountain West – and possibly MAC
