**Penn State will be ranked in the AP poll this week after the organization decided to allow teams from the Big Ten and other conferences to be part of the rankings despite not playing yet.

The Lions were No. 7 in the preseason AP poll, so we’ll see where they land now after much of the rest of the nation has already played a few games.

Update: 12:15 p.m.

**Some good free college and NFL betting picks here from a successful site. They’re also taking Pitt -3 over Louisville, which is NSN’s best bet of the college weekend.
