Former standout wide receiver for Penn State football, Devonte Ross, has just signed to be with Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent (UDFA).
Ross shined at Penn State this past season hauling in 36 receptions for 501 yards and getting into the endzone five times.
The Cartersville, Georgia native also averaged 13.9 yards per catch.
Ross entered the draft projected as a possible late-round pick due to his speed and special teams experience.
Evaluators saw him as a potential slot receiver and return specialist who can contribute immediately to special teams.
He had a breakout junior season at Troy (2024) with 1,043 yards and 11 touchdowns before heading to State College for his senior season.
Ross enters a Chargers team that finished 11-6 last year and were eliminated in the Wild Card round after a 16-3 loss to the New England Patriots.
