Penn State Basketball Re-Signs Juric And Adds Two More International Talents

The Penn State men’s basketball program is hard at it already this offseason.

The Nittany Lions have re-signed freshman, 7-foot forward Ivan Juric and have added two more professional international talents to their 2026-27 roster.

Juric, just today, re-signed to be in the Blue & White next season. This is great news for the Nittany Lions as Juric played really well as a freshman this past season and was by far their most dominant interior player. Juric surprised his teammates and coaches this past season just how good he got so soon and he has a lot of untapped potential to be unleashed.

He finished the season averaging 10.2 points and 5.3 rebounds in 26.4 minutes played per game.

Juric is quoted as saying, “I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a Nittany Lion and thankful for my coaches, teammates and Nittany Nation. I’m locked in and ready to run it back with more hunger, more focus and unfinished business. Let’s get it, Penn State! We are!”

It’s also reported Penn State has signed two more professional international players to their roster.

Francois Wibaut is a 21-year old, 6′-6″ small forward from Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France who played professionally for Pau-Orthez (Pro B) and averaged 8.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 19.8 minutes played per contest.

Pau-Orthez is historically considered a “gold standard” franchise in French basketball.

They also signed 23-year old Roko Prkacin from Zagreb, Croatia, who was once viewed as a potential NBA draft lottery pick. The 6-foot-9 forward has played for the Croatian national team and most recently played professionally in France for Nanterre, averaging 6.2 points and 4.7 rebounds in 17.3 minutes per game in 23 games.

With the additions of Wibaut and Prkacin, this will make a total of five international talents on the 2026-2027 roster joining Juric, Sasa Ciani and Tibor Mirtic.

Mike Rhoades and his staff have recruited, heavily, European talent due to their superior fundamental skills, high basketball IQ and specialized development from a young age and have the experience of playing with older professionals.
