The Penn State Football Program just got their first 2027 commitment in 6′-3″, 190 lb. cornerback Semajay Robinson.

The four-star recruit from Fort Lauderdale, Florida chose the Nittany Lions over Virginia, Florida State, Missouri and Pitt.

Robinson was just in State College on March 27 and 28 for a multi-day visit.

247Sports ranks Robinson as the No. 46 overall cornerback in the 2027 class and the No. 41 overall prospect out of the state of Florida.

Robinson will play his senior season at Dillard High School after playing this past season for Palm Beach Central where he recorded 17 tackles and 1 pass breakup in 11 games played.

He had this to say about Terry Smith, the associate head coach and cornerbacks coach for the Nittany Lions: “My relationship with Coach Terry is strong,” Robinson said. “I feel like he truly understands my game and has a clear plan to develop me. Not just as a player, but as a person. I trust his track record of developing guys like (former Penn State and current Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joey Porter, Jr.) who resemble my game.”

Robinson’s next stop to State College is when he will return for his official visit on June 5-7.
