Dani Dennis-Sutton played a dominant game for Penn State to earn its first conference win of the season.
The senior defensive end catapulted the Nittany Lions to the finish line in a 28-10 victory at Michigan State.
Dennis-Sutton earned two tackles, two sacks, two tackles for loss, and a remarkable 13 quarterback pressures. On Monday, Dennis-Sutton was awarded the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week.
Saturday was the fourth time Dennis-Sutton has recorded multiple sacks in a game. He also blocked a punt in the second quarter. Dennis-Sutton’s three blocked punts tied him with Jack Ham (1968) and Andre Collins (1989) for the most in a PSU season.
In 10 games, Dennis-Sutton owns 31 tackles, five sacks, two passes defended, three forced fumbles, and one interception.
Penn State (4-6, 1-6 Big Ten), hosts Nebraska at 7 p.m. on Saturday, needing to win its final two games to become bowl eligible.
