The top-ranked high school basketball player in Pennsylvania announced on X he received an offer from the Penn State men’s basketball program.
Jaydn Jenkins of Warminster, Pennsylvania in Bucks County, Pa. is the No. 1 ranked basketball recruit in the Commonwealth.
Playing for Archbishop Wood, a private Roman Catholic high school within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Jenkins is also the No. 27 overall ranked recruit in America and the 9th best center in the 2027 Class, per 247Sports.
Jenkins is considered a “fast-riser” due to his stellar, standout performance playing in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) circuit this past summer. 247Sports had this to say about Jenkins: “Jayden Jenkins sports a physically underdeveloped frame but is in the process of polishing his offensive skill set. He changes ends, is an effective rim patroller, and has a significant upside based on how he plays within himself. With added strength, weight and skill development, Jenkins will continue transforming his potential into reliable production.”
The 6′-10,” 205 lb., four-star prospect that has a 7-foot-2 wingspan has also received offers from Georgia, Mississippi State, West Virginia, Temple, Saint Joseph’s, Oklahoma State, Old Dominion and Pepperdine.
