This afternoon, the Penn State men’s basketball team held its local media day inside the Bryce Jordan Center.

Head Coach Mike Rhoades kicked off the day by speaking to the media for a little over 20 minutes. He went over the state of his basketball team and their readiness for action. You can listen to the entire press conference below.

After Rhoades finished at the podium, three of his players faced the media. They were Sasa Ciani, Kayden Mingo, and Melih Tunca.

Watch their press conference here.

Afterwards, the entire team was available for questions and answers out on the court. I was able to interview every player at their individual table. Watch below.

Then the program allowed us to view some of their practice. They were working on their motion offense seeming to really focus on backdoor cuts. Watch the sequence below as Ivan Juric throws down a monstrous dunk to end the play.

Penn State will travel to Dayton, OH this weekend and play the Dayton Flyers in an exhibition game on Sunday, October 19 at 2:00 PM. The game will be televised on FanDuel Ohio. No worries, because Nittany Sports Now will be there, live, to bring you all the action and updates.
