Brewster Academy of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire has been a factory of developing Division 1 and professional basketball players. The private school competes nationally in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL).
Sounds like 6′-1″ sophomore point guard, Michai White (2028), will be no exception, at least for being a Division 1 prospect. The future 5-Star athlete is from Newark, New Jersey and he has transferred to become a Brewster Academy Bobcat ahead of his sophomore season. Today, it was reported by Trent Watson of MADE Hoops that Penn State has offered the rising star.
This week Brewster Academy has begun their open gyms and many top Division 1 basketball programs have travelled to Wolfeboro to recruit the young talent. White has also received offers from Louisville, Auburn, San Diego, Hampton and Rider. He is not the only Bobcat that has been offered by the Nittany Lions. Back on June 16, 6′-1″ junior point guard Antonio Pemberton announced on X his offer by Penn State.
Some of the well-known Brewster Academy alumni that have NBA on their playing resumes are Donovan Mitchell (Cavaliers), TJ Warren (Timberwolves), Will Barton (Raptors), Devonte’ Graham (Spurs), Matas Buzelis (Bulls), Devin Carter (Kings), and Kai Jones (Clippers).
Maybe someday Michai White and Antonio Pemberton will be added to this elite list of professional basketball players.
