Former Penn State tight end Mike Gesicki may be staying put in Cincinnati.
Bovada gives the Bengals the highest odds of any team to sign the 6-foot-6 target.
Gesicki flourished in Cincinnati with Joe Burrow and produced one of the best seasons of his seven-year career. He grabbed 65 catches on 83 targets for 665 yards and two touchdowns.

A dependable threat whose only missed one game in his career, Gesicki averaged 10.2 yards per reception in a loaded offense containing Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins.
Higgins is also a free agent, but it’s expected Cincinnati will once again apply the franchise tag on the former Clemson receiver if they can’t reach a long-term deal.
Gesicki, 29, spent the first five years of his career in Miami after being drafted 42nd overall by the Dolphins in 2018. He remained in the AFC East with the New England Patriots in 2023 before joining the Bengals on a one-year deal. Gesicki has posted four seasons of over 80 targets, including 112 paired with a career-best 72 catches in 2021.
A four-year contributor at Penn State, Gesicki grabbed 129 passes for 1,481 yards and 15 touchdowns (second most in program history at the time) through 51 games. Tyler Warren broke Pat Freiermuth’s record with 19 and also established new records for receptions and yards in a season previously set by Gesicki.
Warren closed 2024 with a Big Ten-best 104 catches for 1,233 yards and eight receiving touchdowns. He broke Gesicki’s 2016 receiving yards (679) and 2017 receiving touchdowns (9) en route to finishing seventh in Heisman voting.
Gesicki remains a dependable option in the passing game and has carved a nice career for himself in one of the NFL’s most talented offenses.
