Former Penn State QB Beau Pribula is making plenty of money at his new home.
Sunday night, news broke that Pribula had committed to Missouri.
The next afternoon, it was reveled how much he’s making.
Per Pete Nakos of On3Sports, Pribula “signed a $1.5M NIL package with Missouri.”

“A year ago,” wrote On3, “the top quarterbacks landed one-year financial agreements ranging between $750,000 to $2 million, led by Cam Ward and Riley Leonard. Those numbers have continued on the uptick in this cycle. Sources tell On3 that Jackson Arnold’s deal with Auburn is in the same range as Pribula’s.”
This is sure to surprise some people.
IS HE WORTH IT?

Pribula has been playing college football for three seasons and hasn’t started a game yet, so plenty will be surprised that he’s making more than one and a half million. But Pribula became a fan favorite over his time at Penn State.
A big reason Pribula became a fan favorite was his upbringing. Pribula rooted for Penn State as a kid, having grown up in York. Although Pribula technically was a backup QB, he wasn’t a traditional QB2. Pribula appeared in each of Penn State’s first 13 games this season, used mainly as a runner. He ended the year with 242 yards and four touchdowns on 38 carries. Pribula only passed the ball 35 times but completed 26 of them, with his finest hour coming Oct. 26 at Wisconsin.
Starting QB Drew Allar got hurt late in the first half, and with Penn State down 10-7 at the break, somebody needed to step up.
On defense, that guy was Jaylen Reed, whose Pick 6 gave Penn State a lead it wouldn’t lose.
On offense, Pribula was the guy. He went 11-for-13 for 98 yards and a touchdown. The next week, Allar was fine and Pribula went back into his Swiss Army Knife role. But for the second half of that Madison night, Pribula was the man for Penn State. If Pribula wasn’t sharp, who knows if Penn State beats Wisconsin? If Penn State doesn’t beat Wisconsin, it isn’t in the College Football Playoff.
So Penn State has, in part, Pribula to thank for it being in the Fiesta Bowl New Year’s Eve.
But what does that mean for Penn State’s QB1?
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR DREW ALLAR?

As On3 reported, college quarterbacks are making more than they were even a year ago. Now that Pribula’s salary details are released, does that mean Allar— who is coming back next season— will make more money? Time will tell. Allar’s current NIL arraignment is not fully public.
