With National Signing Day two weeks away, it appears as though Penn State will have to battle for one of their most recent commitments.
10 days ago, Penn State football received a commitment from 2025 4-star athlete Chaz Coleman from Harding High School in Warren, Ohio.
Today, Coleman received some news that no doubt will get him to do something thinking.
Coleman announced on X that he received an offer from Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The question now is how much does he value that offer and will it get him to re-consider his Penn State decision?

Prior to committing to James Franklin and the Nittany Lions, Coleman went on a run of receiving offers, holding ones from Missouri, Florida State, Michigan State, NC State, Pitt, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Purdue, Illinois, Kentucky and Ole Miss. Coleman officially received his scholarship offer from Penn State on September 18th.
The 6’5″, 220-pound Coleman is still relatively raw but once he is able to put on 20-30 pounds and adds more muscle and strength, he has the ability to become an outstanding defensive end.
The question now becomes at which school will Coleman showcase his talent? Right now, it’s Penn State but we’ll find out officially in the next two weeks.
