Koby Howard is one of the highest rated players in Penn State’s current Class of 2025 and over the weekend, he looked every bit the part of a big-time prospect.
The 4-star wide receiver from Hollywood, Florida opened his senior season with a tremendous performance, despite his Chamindae-Madonna High School team losing to St. John Bosco (CA), 34-27.
Howard displayed his athleticism to a nationally televised audience with combining his receiving, rush and special teams’ ability.
Early in the game, Howard showed his speed with this 38-yard run, he then went up for a nice catch across the middle and concluded things with a TD reception in the corner of the endzone. This performance is noteworthy considering it came against a talented St. John Bosco team, which is ranked nationally in the Top 10.

The 6’1″, 175-pound wideout committed to Penn State back on August 4th and it was important because the coaching staff was searching for that nationally ranked blue-chip receiver to add to their Class of 2025. Howard decided to commit to Penn State over Florida, Florida State and Ole Miss.
Penn State’s current Class of 2025 has commitments from 23 players and is currently ranked No. 12 in the country. Per Rivals.com, 13 of Penn State’s 23 commitments have a 4-star rating.
