Will Penn State add another 4-star recruit to its growing Class of 2025 recruiting class today?
The answer to that will come at 1 p.m. when Alvin Henderson announces his decision.
Henderson (5-foot-9, 200 pounds) is a 4-star running back from Elba, Alabama and is rated as one of the Top 200 overall junior recruits.
Henderson holds more than 45 offers but will be deciding between Penn State, Auburn, Florida State and Miami, Fla. Recruiting insiders believe his decision will come down to Penn State and Auburn.
In an interview with Tom Loy from 247 Sports, Henderson credits Penn State for being on him since the start.
“Penn State has been the team and staff that has always been recruiting me the hardest and one that nobody really knew about and one I didn’t talk about much. They have been on me hard. They offered me early on,” Henderson said.
“The thing about Penn State is that they consider me as a dude that can come in and be the next Nick Singleton or Kaytron Allen. They are going to leave (after) this year and they consider me the dude that can replace them.”
Credit Penn State assistant Ja’Juan Seider for the recruitment of Henderson.
Penn State currently has 11 commitments in is Class of 2025, two of those being running backs in (4-star running back Tiqwai Hayes (Aliquippa) and 3-star running back Kiandrea Barker (Miami, Florida).
