ATLANTA– The woman who was unofficially Penn State football’s first lady for 46 seasons is at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for today’s Peach Bowl.
Sue Paterno, widow of legendary coach Joe Paterno, is in the house, present for a ceremony regarding the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year award, which Joe Paterno won twice.
Joe became the first multi-time winner of the award in 2005, and since then, only Kansas State legend Bill Snyder has accomplished that feat.
