Penn State Schedule: Road Trips to Washington, Oregon Highlight 25-28 Slate

Penn State football’s Big Ten opponents on the schedule for the next five years— at the moment— set, although they could change based on whatever further realignment happens.

But right now, here’s what Penn State fans have to look forward to schedule-wise.

In 2024, the team has Illinois, Ohio State, Maryland, UCLA and Washington at home. On the road it will play at Minnesota, Purdue, USC and Wisconsin

The next year, Penn State has Indiana, Nebraska, Northwestern and Oregon at home, and plays, Iowa, Michigan State, Ohio State, Rutgers and UCLA away. In 2026, Penn State has Minnesota, Purdue, Rutgers, USC and Wisconsin at home, and on the road, plays Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern and Washington. The next season, Penn State has Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State and Washington at home, then plays at Illinois, Indiana, Oregon, Purdue and Wisconsin.

Finally, in 2028, Penn State has Indiana, Iowa, Ohio State, Oregon and UCLA at home, then Michigan State, Nebraska, Rutgers and USC on the road.

In 2025, the plan is for Oregon come to Beaver Stadium for the first time since joining the Big Ten.

Also that year, Penn State will the at the Rose Bowl, presumably playing under a much smaller crowd than it did this past January against Utah. As for 2026, the new plan is for USC to come to Beaver Stadium for the first time. Before Oregon and Washington came to the mix, USC was supposed to play in Beaver Stadium next season.

In 2027, the plan is for Penn State to visit Washington for the first time since it joined the Big Ten. The next season, plans are for Penn State to be back at USC.
