The moment Jalen Pickett has dreamed of his whole life and one that’s felt inevitable for months finally arrived.
Denver made a trade with Indiana to acquire the 32nd pick of this year’s NBA Draft, and used that pick to take the former Penn State star.
Pickett helped Penn State to its first NCAA Tournament win since 2001 this season.
Now, he’ll be playing for a GM that also played at Penn State, Calvin Booth. Denver just won the franchise’s first NBA Championship. Now, Pickett will look to help the Nuggets win another.
