Singleton is ranked behind, in order, Blake Corum of Michigan, Quinton Junkins of Ole Miss, Rahiem Sanders of Arkansas, Bucky Irving of Oregon, Braylon Allen of Washington and Trey Benson of Florida State.
Singleton rushed for 1,065 yards as a true freshman last season and 12 touchdowns, including an electrifying 87-yard touchdown run in the Rose Bowl.

Singleton was named AP Big Ten Newcomer of the Year, l Big-Big Ten Freshman of the Year, FWAA Freshman All-American, and Third-team All-Big Ten.
Singleton bulked up to 228 pounds in the off-season and is expected with Kaytron Allen to be the strength of the offense again this season, with sophomore quarterback Drew Allar developing in his first year as the starter and the young wide receivers find their footing in Mike Yurcich’s offense.
