Penn State players Drew Allar, Abdul Carter, Olu Fashanu, and Kalen King have reached NIL deals with Inch & Co., a construction company based out of York, Pennsylvania.
As a part of the deal, each player will receive a Tesla for the next year. The energy-efficient car will have the Inch & Co. logo on each side of the car.
This is the second known NIL arrangement for Allar, who is a part of a NIL deal that had him become the subject of a childrenโs book called โThe Men in Backโ.
In a press release, Inch & Co.โs marketing director Cambria Bailey spoke about how the deal could help out everyone involved.
โItโs not just an advertising opportunity, it is an investing opportunity.โ Bailey said.
Allar is set to take the reigns as the starter for Sean Clifford next season and he seems to take off after gaining rather valuable experience as a freshman. Allar went 35-59 for 344 yards and threw four touchdowns this past season.
Fashanu bypassed an opportunity to enter the NFL Draft, where he would have been likely a first-round draft pick to remain at Penn State.
King had a phenomenal year playing opposite Joey Porter Jr., recording 27 tackles, 15 pass breakups, two interceptions, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. He earned Third-team All-Big Ten in 2022.
Carter was the playmaker Penn State lacked over the last couple of seasons when he recorded 35 tackles, 6.5 sacks, four pass breakups, and two forced fumbles. He was named Second-team All-Big Ten and is a finalist for the Shawn Alexander Freshman of the Year award.
Inch & Co. signing four of Penn Stateโs highest profile players sign NIL deals with the company is a big win for a local company trying to grow and expand in its region.
