Penn State insider Ryan Snyder of On3Sports has projected Penn State to land a commitment from Tomarrion Parker, a four-star EDGE from Central High School in Phenix City, Alabama.
Parker (6-foot-4, 255 pounds) went on an official visit to Penn State this past weekend. 247Sports’ lone crystal ball projection, placed by Director of Football Recruiting Steve Wiltfong, has Parker committing to Georgia.
Although nothing is certain yet, this is certainly something Penn State fans would like to see. Two other targets who took official visits this past weekend, linebackers Tony Rojas and Ta’Mere Robinson, set their commitment dates for July 5 and July 15, respectively. Both players also have crystal ball projections to Penn State, and the fact that each announced their commitment date on the heels of their official visits will be looked at as a good sign for many Penn State fans.
It’s far from certain what Parker will decide, at least for the general public. Another expert position from On3.com, placed June 6, by Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons, had Parker picking Florida, where he’s being recruited by current Florida co-defensive coordinator and former Penn State assistant Sean Spencer.
