Penn State is in Webbโs top five, along with Baylor, Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee. Recruiting insider Mike Farrell reported earlier this month that of those five, Florida and Penn State are the favorites. Webb has helped Trinity Christian to two state championships, and rushed for 1200 yards and 11 touchdowns in just 10 games in 2021.
Penn Stateโs future at running back already looks set, with five-star Nick Singleton and four-star Kaytron Allen already on campus from the 2022 class. Webb is also capable of playing defensive back, however, and three-star Lamont Payne is the only defender Penn State has committed from the class of 2023.
