Penn State will hold its annual Pro Day on Thursday, and BTN will broadcast the action live from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The following PSU players will take part in Pro Day activities at Holuba Hall:
**LB Micah Parsons
**TE Pat Freiermuth
**DE Jayson Oweh
**DE Staka Toney
**OL Michal Menet
**OL Will Fries
All six of those players earned invites to the NFL combine. Two other PSU players also will take part in Pro Day:
**S Lamont Wade
**OL Steven Gonzalez
Following the BTN broadcast, Penn State will continue coverage with its own in-house broadcast that can be seen on Twitter and Facebook Live.
Where do all of these PSU players stand with their draft stock entering Pro Day?
The website NFL Mock Draft Database keeps tabs on various mocks and compiles information to give a good look at each player’s stock. You can check out the PSU players who are in their database below.
One thing that continues to be interesting, as you can see below, is that linebacker Micah Parsons’ stock has dropped slowly but steadily over the past few months leading up to the draft. Once considered a potential top five pick, Parsons is now expected to go closer to the middle of the first round.
There have been mentions of some off-field concerns with Parsons, and that could be what’s been driving down his stock a bit. Still, it wouldn’t be a surprise if some team does end up taking him in the top 10, especially if he has a great Pro Day on Thursday.
Another player who certainly can help himself Thursday is Freiermuth. He missed the second half of this past season with a shoulder injury, dropping him out of the first round of many mocks and to the middle of the second round. If Freiermuth can show scouts that he’s healthy at Pro Day, he could help himself get back closer to the first round.
