Linebacker Jarvis Miller, who played four seasons at Penn State before finishing his career at UMass, has signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Miller, a 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker from Suffield, Connecticut, spent four seasons at Penn State before joining UMass as a graduate transfer in 2019. He played in 12 games with the Minutemen and finished fourth on the team with 60 tackles in the most extensive playing time of his career. He also had 4.5 tackles for loss, one sack and one quarterback hit.

Miller will likely slot at inside linebacker for the Steelers, where he’ll join fellow former Penn State product Marcus Allen, Ulysees Gilbert III and Tegray Scales as depth behind current projected starters Devin Bush and Robert Spillane.
