Kaden Saunders, a 4-star wide receiver from Ohio who committed to Penn State in July, has been very busy updating his offer sheet recently. And Friday he got a big one — from Alabama.

Saunders (5-10, 172) clocked a 4.31 second 40-yard dash last weekend at a camp, and that must have been just what Alabama needed to see to offer him. Surprisingly, he still does not have an offer from Ohio State, despite going to high school just 20 minutes away from the university in Westerville, Ohio.
We just wrote about Saunders earlier in the week after he posted his frustration on Twitter toward fans who have been criticizing his parents. Saunders has been tweeting out some news offers lately — including to Texas A&M, Illinois and also FCS Jackson State, which is coached by Deion Sanders — and apparently some fans have taken to being critical of him.
The Alabama offer, though, is a huge one for Saunders. Receiver DeVonta Smith just won the Heisman Trophy for the Crimson Tide, and they’ve had great success sending wideouts to the NFL in recent years.
Any receiver who gets an offer from Alabama has to give that a lot of thought given the school’s tremendous track record.
