Update: 10:35 a.m.
**Well, that was interesting for about 20 minutes.
It appears the Big Ten has put the kibosh on Nebraska playing this weekend.
The Big Ten apparently wants no part of its members looking to play teams outside the conference, which Nebraska also looked into doing and was rebuked when the conference initially decided to postpone the season in early August.
The 15-minute news cylce is already over. No game Saturday. The Big Ten COP/C voted "no" per the Chattanooga Times Free Press. https://t.co/plfeUd3S45

Update: 10:25 a.m.
**It looks like Nebraska is going to try and play a non-conference game this weekend against Chattanooga. Since the Huskers can’t play Wisconsin because of a COVID outbreak within the Badgers, this makes sense.
However, will the Big Ten allow this?
And if so, will it set a precedent if future Big Ten games are canceled because of an outbreak with one team.
