Update: 2:55 p.m.
Penn State is No. 13 in this week’s Amway coaches poll. The Lions were No. 7 in the preseason poll.
Ohio State is No. 10 in the coaches poll.
PSU is not eligible yet for the AP poll because of the Big Ten’s late start.
It will be interesting to see where PSU and all the Big Ten teams land when they all are eligible for the AP poll, and how quickly they rise up in the poll after they play for a week or two.
