University Park— Penn State wrestling did what Penn State wrestling does, and won its 85 straight dual meet over No. 2 Ohio State before an attendance record crowd at the Bryce Jordan Center, 36-5.
In doing so, Penn State sealed the Big Ten dual meet championship, and ends the conference season undefeated.
No. 1 Luke Lilledahl started the night strong with a thrilling win over No. 2 Nic Bouzakis at 125, and at 133, No. 4 Marcus Blaze followed that up with an equally thrilling win over No. 2 Ben Davino.
No. 1 Shayne Van Ness (tech fall), No. 4 PJ Duke (pin), No. 1 Mitchell Mesenbrink (major decision) No. 1 Levi Haines (tech fall) and No. 1 Josh Barr (major) all picked up bonus point wins as well.
At 184, Rocco Welsh stayed No. 1 with a thrilling triumph over a top 10 opponent in Dylan Fishback.
At heavyweight, No. 12 Cole Mirasola went to sudden victory with No. 3 Nick Feldman and got a takedown to win it and end the night in grand fashion.
Penn State wrestling will close out the regular season next Friday night against Princeton at Rec Hall. The dual meet is scheduled to begin at 7.
