Update: Pat Kraft did make it to the Pinstripe Bowl and was seen on the sidelines.

The ABC broadcast mentioned Campbell was supposed to join them in the second quarter, but his flight was cancelled and he was unable to make it to Yankee Stadium for the game.

Interim head coach Terry Smith mentioned during a Friday morning press conference Campbell would be at the game, but would be staying away from the sidelines as he had media obligations and wanted to let the current coaches do their thing.

Campbell wasn’t the only one whose travel was impacted. university president Neeli Bendapudi and athletic director Pat Kraft were late getting to the game due to their flight issues, thus missing a scheduled press conference at 10:30.

Kraft eventually made and and was seen on the sidelines.
