Penn State finally has a full-time head coach again.
After 54 days, the team officially hired Iowa State boss Matt Campbell Friday night.
Campbell turned into Iowa State into a consistent winner for the first time in its history, taking a program that had eight winning seasons between 1978 and 2015 and having eight between 2016 and 2025.
Last seasons was the best one yet, with ISU winning 11 games.

Penn State is still Penn State, it was always going to attract an excellent coach. While success is never guaranteed, Matt Campbell certainly fits that description. Fans should be excited.
