It was a different week for Penn State against Florida International as far as the snap count goes.

Against Nevada Week 1, Penn State was dominant enough to empty the bench.

Snap Count Sunday: Who Saw The Most Action For Penn State Against Nevada?

Although the 34-0 score suggests another dominant performance in Week 2, the snap counts say otherwise.

At quarterback, backup Ethan Grunkemeyer played one snap compared to 23 from the previous week. At running back, only starters Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen touched the ball, so young players like Cam Wallace and Corey Smith weren’t able to build off their Week 1 performances.

Penn State only led by 20 in the fourth quarter and didn’t fully pull away until late.

The good news is that Penn State has another easy win set up against Villanova Saturday, so theoretically, the young players should get more experience.

Until then, here’s a look at how this week’s snaps played out.
