UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — For those with Zane Durant getting the first interception of the season for Penn State on their bingo card, you may cross it off.
Durant hauled in the first of the season and first of his career in the first quarter to set up an eventual 28-yard field goal by Ryan Barker.
While Durant gets the glory, it was defensive tackle Xavier Gilliam who blew up the screen play and tipped the ball resulting in the interception.

The interception marked the second turnover of the afternoon with A.J. Harris recovering a fumble forced by Dani Dennis-Sutton to set up Penn State’s first touchdown drive.
