In recruiting news, a Penn State commit has been invited to one of high school football’s top showcases.
QB commit Troy Huhn, a four-star, 6-foot-4, 215-pounder from California’s Mission Hills High School, has been invited to the Under Armour All-America Game.
Huhn earned this through what Billy Tucker of The UC Report described as a “strong showing at UA Next in Los Angeles.”
247Sports has Huhn as the No. 14 QB in the country from his class as well as the No. 24 prospect in California and the No. 202 prospect nationally.
He’s been committed to Penn State since late last June and is taking his official visit May 30-June 2 of this year.
THE SCOUTING REPORT
The scouting report on Huhn, provided by 247 Sports’ National Recruiting Analyst Greg Biggins, describes Huhn as a “smooth pocket passer with a good frame, mechanics, and arm talent.”
“Has a prototype 6-4 frame with plenty of room to add good weight. May not wow you with arm strength, but throws with very good anticipation. Can get it out early and does a nice job of throwing guys open. Plays with clean feet in the pocket and displays the ability under center to work play action. Not a great athlete but moves well in designed rollouts. Can clear the pocket and make accurate throws down the field. As he physically matures and adds some strength and bulk, expect to see a jump in arm strength down the road as well.”
HE’S NOT THE ONLY ONE
Huhn isn’t the only QB commit in Penn State football’s 2026 recruiting class. PSU also has in-state product Peyton Falzone (Nazareth), who committed last month.
Penn State has 14 players committed to its 2026 class, which 247 ranks fifth in the nation.
