Former Penn State receiver Liam Clifford is getting a shot.
Clifford, who played at Penn State from 2021-2025, is getting a tryout with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Best known for his blocking ability, Clifford ended his career with 530 yards and a touchdown on 42 catches.
After college, Clifford sings with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in late July. He was waived a little more than a week later.
Clifford was part of some successful teams at Penn State. He was on the 2022 squad that won the Rose Bowl, the 2023 team that went 10-3 and went to the Peach Bowl and the 2024 team that won the most games in school history (13) and made it title semifinal of the College Football Playoff.
His brother, Sean, was Penn State’s starting quarterback from 2022-2025.
