Penn State offensive lineman Sal Wormley will have the opportunity to compete for a spot on an NFL roster.
On Saturday, Wormley weighed as an undrafted free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars following the conclusion of the 2025 NFL Draft.
NFL writer Aaron Wilson reported Wormley is signing for $110,000 guaranteed.
He started all 16 games at right guard for Penn State on its run to the College Football Playoff semifinals. Wormley earned All-Big Ten honorable mention honors in three consecutive seasons (2022-24).
Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen both rushed for over 1,000 yards in 2024 with Wormley as one of the main anchors.
The 6-foot-3, Newark, New Jersey native started all 13 games at right guard in 2023 and was a critical force to Penn Stateโs rushing attack.
It was a rough start for Wormley, redshirting his first season in 2019, playing three games the following year, and missing all of 2021 due to injury.
He responded in 2022 by starting all 13 games and being named the coaching staffโs Offensive Player of the Game against Auburn (Sept. 17) and Northwestern (Oct. 1).
