In today’s world of collegiate sports, you never really know what’s going to happen next, and Penn State understands that.

On Thursday afternoon, NIL collective Happy Valley United began to rally additional financial support for the football program this spring.

In a call to action to PSU fans, the collective is officially launching the “Spring Portal & Retention Fund.”

“We are calling on all (Penn State football) fans to come together and help the program build for the future,” Happy Valley United posted on social media.

Spring practice is underway in anticipation of the 2025 Blue-White Game April 26.

The initiative comes 12 days before the spring college football transfer portal window opens on April 16. The portal closes April 25, the day before the spring game.

Penn State saw it last season when wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith sat out the spring game and entered the portal a few days later. Places like Nebraska have opted not to host a spring game this year, but Penn State believes the event is important to campus and the school’s community.

Happy Valley United highlighted transfers such as PSU football alum Arnold Ebiketie, Hunter Nourzad and 2024 first-round pick and Defensive Rookie of the Year finalist Chop Robinson.

They also highlighted current players and transfer stars including offensive tackle Nolan Rucci, plus  cornerbacks A.J. Harris and Audavion Collins.

“You guys more than came through for the Retain The Roar and 1-0 Campaigns💪 ,” the collective said. “Let’s prove to everyone why we have the best fans in the world!”Penn State fans can donate to NIL initiatives HERE.
