Penn State legend Saquon Barkley is going to the Super Bowl for the first time in his career.
The Eagles star had two touchdown runs— one for 60 yards— and ended the day with 118 yards and three scores on 15 carries, averaging 9.4 yards per carry.

Barkley set the tone right away.
He took Philly’s first play from scrimmage for a 60 yard score.
His next touch was also a touchdown, pushing Philly’s lead to two scores.
Barkley almost got a third touchdown later but was tackled at the 1-yard line, but he officially got it later. There’s still one game left, but Sunday was just another chapter in what’s been a dream season for No. 26.
‘MVP! MVP!’

Barkley has gotten multiple “MVP!” chants from Eagles fans throughout the year. He ended the regular season with 2,005 yards— a franchise record— and 13 touchdowns, averaging 5.8 yards per carry. He’s continued that into the postseason. In the wildcard round against the Packers, he rushed for 119 yards on 25 carries. The next round was perhaps the signature performance of his NFL career. Against the Rams, Barkley rushed for 205 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries. Both TD runs— 68 and 72 yards— were epic. The second one was especially so since it happened in the middle of a snowstorm.
Barkley is the clear top dog on a team of stars. But he isn’t the only former Penn Stater going to the Super Bowl.

Jahan Dotson is also going dancing. The former Penn State receiver had 216 yard on 19 receptions in the regular season and caught a touchdown pass in the Wildcard round against Green Bay.
Former Penn State manager Christian Molnar, who is now the Eagles’ Director of Team Relationships, is also going to the Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 6:30 on Fox.
