Penn State is not a team who is notorious for starting out hot, but Tuesday night in the Valley of the Sun, it was a much different start than usual.
Much like the first round game against SMU, a pivotal first drive fourth down decision by Boise State proved costly as the Broncos missed a 35-yard field goal.

That led to the first possession of the game for the Nittany Lions. One in which they promptly marched 72 yards in nine plays leading to this work of art from Drew Allar to Tyler Warren.

Allar and the offense dialed long distance on the next possession with this absolute dime to Omari Evans to put the Nittany Lions up 14-0.

It was a nearly perfect first quarter save for a fumble for Allar, but the Broncos weren’t able to capitalize
