Hours after Penn State suffered a 20-13 loss to Ohio State at Beaver Stadium, word got out about next week’s game, which is the White Out.
Penn State’s Nov. 9 clash against Washington at Beaver Stadium was set for either 3:30 or 8.
Now, we know that it will be at 8.

The good news is that this means the White Out will again be at night, which it has been every season since 2015. The bad news (for some, anyway), is that it will be on NBC’s streaming service, Peacock, instead of network television.
Nonetheless, the house will be rocking in Happy Valley Saturday night, even though they’ll no longer be cheering an undefeated team.
OHIO STATE WOUND STILL FRESH
Penn State fans will be thinking about the game that proceeded Washington for a while. That was Saturday’s 20-13 loss to Ohio State.
Penn State came into Beaver Stadium Saturday morning 1-9 against Ohio State since James Franklin took over as coach in 2014.
It left Beaver Stadium Saturday afternoon 1-10 in its last 11 against the Buckeyes.
After turning the ball over on downs with 5:13 remaining in the game, the Penn State defense was unable to get the ball back as the Ohio State rushing attack iced the game for the Buckeyes.
No. 3 Penn State is now 7-1 and still in a good position to make the College Football Playoffs but fans are rightfully frustrated.
TIME TO MOVE FORWARD
Penn State has done quite well in White Out games, having won the last four. The most recent was a 31-0 demolition of Iowa in 2023. PSU would certainly like another result like that.
At 7-1 and ranked No. 3 (until Sunday), Penn State will make the College Football Playoff and host a game if it wins out.
That journey begins Saturday.
