Penn State will be without its top recruit in the class of 2024, Miles Goodman, and sophomore transfer Eli Rice Friday night.
Goodman was the 84th-ranked player and 12th-ranked center in the class of 2024, per 247Sports. In 247Sportsโ Composite, the only Nittany Lion recruit with a higher rating than Goodman (.0946) was Tony Carr (.9746) in 2016.
Rice meanwhile, is a sophomore transfer from Big Ten rival Nebraska. As a freshman, Rice was one of six freshmen nationally to attempt at least 58 percent of his shots from 3, shoot at least 37 percent from deep and have a defensive rebound percentage of 13.5 percent.
Penn State is set to host the University of Maryland, Baltimore County Friday. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 on the Big Ten Network.
