University Park— Penn State dominated Illinois everywhere but the scoreboard Saturday night.
Despite out gaining Illinois by 145 yards, Penn State didn’t put it away until a Kaytron Allen touchdown with a little more than two minutes left made it 20-7.
The extra point made it 21, and that was the final score.
But there was still plenty to clean up, namely in the kicking game. Sander Sahaydak missed two 40-yard field goals, making that three in four games.
