With the start of the 2024 college football season set to kickoff this Saturday, that also means speculation will start regarding the 2025 NFL Draft.

Although the exact order won’t be known for months, mock drafts are already starting to appear.

On one hand, that’s completely ridiculous but I understand, certain writers are looking for content. However, the one thing you can get from looking at these way too early mock drafts is which players are projecting as 1st round talent.

While it’s still eight months until NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announces the first pick, early indications are that a number of Big Ten players could her their named called in the 1st round.

On Wednesday morning, ESPN’s NFL Insider Field Yates released his first 2025 NFL Mock Draft and it included the names of 10 Big Ten players.

Here’s a look at the players and where Yates predicts they’re headed.
