The month of June is a pretty important month for college football programs in terms of recruiting.
June is when teams see where they stand with high school recruits as they host them on official visits and hopefully receive verbal commitments.
The Penn State Nittany Lions hit it out of the park in June as they received nine commitments, nine of which came from players that had 4-star status. In fact, a national recruiting service is giving major praise to James Franklin and his Penn State football staff.
On3 Recruits have listed their biggest recruiting winners for the month of June and Penn State football has made that list.
Keegan Pope from On3 Recruits has listed the following schools as having the best month of recruiting in June.
1. Alabama
2. Georgia
3. Oregon
4. Ohio State
5. Penn State
That’s some pretty good company for Penn State.
In order, here were the nine players that committed to Penn State last month and ironically, the first player to join Penn State is the highest ranked player in their Class of 2025.
