Penn State just couldn’t shoot in its 68-49 loss at Nebraska Sunday afternoon.

PSU shot 18-for-54 from the field and 5-for-23 from 3.

Zach Hicks led the scoring with 13 points and Ace Baldwin added 10.

Nebraska’s Keisi Tominaga led all scorers with 17 points. Forward Juwan Gary (13) and Rienk Mast (12 points, nine rebounds) also pitched in.

The first half was tight throughout, with Nebraska leading Penn State by five at the first media timeout. Through that point, Zach Hicks was leading Penn State with 11 points. Penn State trailed by six at the break, but it only got worse from there. Nebraska went on a 10-2 run to start the second half and never looked back.

Penn State looks to bounce back Wednesday night against Illinois at Rec Hall.
