Update (11:11 a.m.)— **Defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Tom Allen has named his competitor of the day, and its Tyler Elsdon.

Elsdon played in 10 of Penn State’s 13 games last season, ending the year with 12 tackles (11 solo), a tackle for loss, two pass breakups and a fumble recovery.

 

Update (11:08 a.m.)— **Former Aliquippa star Zuriah Fisher is DL coach Deion Barnes’ competitor of the day. After missing most of 2022 due to injury, the in-state product had a strong 2023 season. He played in 10 of Penn State’s 13 games, ending the year with 14 tackles (nine solo), a fumble recovery and 2.5 sacks.

Update (9:28 a.m.)— **J’Ven Williams is OL coach Phil Trautwein’s competitor of the day. The 6-foot-5,  304 pounder is entering his second season after redshirting year one. He came to Penn State as a blue-chip recruit from in-state Wyomissing.

Update (9:20 a.m.)— **Penn State QB Beau Pribula is position coach Danny O’Brien’s competitor of the day for the fourth time in five winter workouts.
