Penn State received a big commitment on Friday from 2024 four-star athlete Liam Andrews (6-foot-5, 275-lbs) out of Brookline Dexter School in Massachusetts.

Andrews lists himself as an athlete on his Twitter and plays both offensive and defensive line in high school. 247Sports lists him as a defensive lineman while Rivals lists him as an offensive tackle and On3 lists him as an athlete. Clearly, there doesn’t seem to be a consensus on which side of the ball he should suit up for.
Andrews reportedly told teams a year ago that he preferred to play defensive tackle while in college so it’s expected that’s where he’ll play while at Penn State.
All four major recruiting outlets, those three plus ESPN, have him as a four-star recruit regardless of his position. He’s the No. 3 rated athlete in the country for On3, No. 17 rated defensive lineman on 247Sports, and No. 14 rated offensive tackle on Rivals for the class of 2024.
He was primarily recruited by defensive line coach Deion Barnes and offensive line coach Phil Trautwein according to Rivals.
