Despite committing to Ohio State in December, Smith has continued to make visits to top Power Five schools, including Miami, Florida, Florida State and Georgia, along with Penn State.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound receiver helped lead Chaminade to a state championship with 13 consecutive wins before falling to national power Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) to close the 2022 season.
During his junior campaign, Smith compiled 58 receptions for 1,073 yards and 20 touchdowns, leading Chaminade in all three categories.
