Xavier “Xman” Porter, a four-star Class of 2024 defensive lineman from Florida’s Tampa Catholic High School, is taking his official visit to Penn State this weekend, June 9-11, he tweeted Tuesday night.

The 6-foot-4, 270-pounder visited Louisville this past weekend and has OVs scheduled to Kansas (June 15-17) and NC State (June 23).
Penn State offered Porter in late April.
He also has offers from schools such as Auburn, Boston College, Cincinnati, Florida State, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Oklahoma State, Rutgers, Tennessee, Wake Forest, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Last season, he had 50 tackles and two sacks for Tampa Catholic. Porter’s a two sport athlete at Tampa, also competing in Track and Field, where he does the shot put and discus.
Porter’s the No. 60 DL in the country according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, the No. 94 player in Florida and the No. 640 player in the country.
Porter spoke about his official visit to Louisville with 247Sports.
“I thought the visit was really good,” Porter said. I could see myself thriving there with the coaching staff and the environment.”
Porter also told 247 he plans to announce his commitment in July.
