Penn State’s in Ressler’s top five along with Arizona State, Boise State, Oregon and Oregon State.
PSU offered Ressler in February.
Along with his finalists, Ressler has offers from school’s such as Colorado, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Pitt, Purdue, Tennessee, USC and Wisconsin. Ressler’s been receiving DI interest since early in his freshman season. Arizona State, Florida and Oregon offered him in August 2020.
Ressler released his top five in late April and hasn’t made any changes to it since.
PSU doesn’t have a receiver committed in its 2024 Class yet. The closest thing is probably Quinton Martin, a high-end four-star from Belle Vernon High School near Pittsburgh. Martin is listed as an ATH and can play multiple positions at the college level, but as of now, he’s projected to play running back at Penn State. Penn State has only one receiver signed to the ’23 Class, four-star Carmelo Taylor Patrick Henry High School in Glade Spring, Virginia. Penn State has a new receivers coach and offensive recruiting coordinator, Marques Hagans. Hagans replaced Taylor Stubblefield, who Penn State fired in January.
Penn State’s ‘24 recruiting is currently 17 strong.
It’s ranked No. 6 in the nation according to 247Sports. The first weekend of June— a.k.a “official visit month” to some— became a big one for James Franklin and company. PSU had three players commit Sunday, and is looking to add more as the summer heats up.
