Samuel Madu, a Class of 2024 three-star defensive back prospect from Archbishop Stepinac in White Plains, New York, has narrowed his school choices down to five and Penn State made the list.

Penn State’s in the running with Michigan State, Minnesota, Purdue and West Virginia.
Madu (6-foot-2, 170 pounds) is the No. 9 player in New York from his class and the No. 84 ranked cornerback in the country, according to On3 recruiting rankings.
Madu is a rising prospect that has the speed and length to cover wide receivers deep down the field, as he also runs track for Archbishop Stepinac, recording 22-7 in the long jump.
Madu visited Penn State for the Blue-White Game April 15 and spoke about his experience with Blue-White Illustrated.
“I loved everything about today’s visit, he said. “From the food to the energy before the game to the game itself. Although the visit went by really fast, I wished it was longer. I enjoyed watching the coaches talk to to their players during warmups and during the game to keep the energy positive and the best mood they can be. It’s always great watching corners and players in the position you want to be in. I’d say it gave me a lot of motivation. Great time.”
Penn State would like to add Madu to the cornerback room that includes Jon Mitchell and Antoine Belgrave-Shorter, both from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida, to the cornerback room in the 2024 recruiting class.
